Fall is the perfect time to plant and to support a local nonprofit. A large selection of native wildflowers, ferns, grasses, woody vines, water garden plants, trees and shrubs will be offered for sale. All plants are nursery propagated and chosen for their beauty, hardiness, wildlife value and their appropriateness for conditions in South Central Pennsylvania. Seems like we've had a rash of spammers joining the group lately. I have reset the controls so now people must get administrator's approval before being able to join or post anything. Pittsburgh Sustainable Lands Partnership
Calling all western Pa. organizations: DCNR is in the process of convening a Sustainable Lands Partnership for the Pittsburgh region. The purpose of the group is to spread the message of sustainability to municipalities, businesses, educators and nonprofits. We will do this through a one-day conference and other outreach efforts.
