I wanted to let you know that the Sustainable Lands Program now has a page on Facebook, so we are going to start transitioning over there. Once our subscription to this Ning site runs out, we will not be renewing it. While the cost is minimal, Facebook is free, and will allow us to reach many more people with our outreach and events.

It's official... the Sustainable PA Network is now partnering with the Chesapeake Network, an initiative of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. The Chesapeake Network (www.chesapeakenetwork.org) is another online discussion group and networking site where you can talk to professionals in PA, MD, VA and beyond. Calling all western Pa. organizations: DCNR is in the process of convening a Sustainable Lands Partnership for the Pittsburgh region. The purpose of the group is to spread the message of sustainability to municipalities, businesses, educators and nonprofits. We will do this through a one-day conference and other outreach efforts.
